Rashists continue genocide of Ukrainian children

Russian media, citing the russian president's representative on children's rights, report that orphans and children deprived of parental care in the temporarily occupied districts of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts will receive russian citizenship.

To do this, it seems that agreements were reached with the leadership of the occupation administrations.

Granting russian citizenship to children from Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts will make it easier to adopt them in Russia.

The russian authorities have repeatedly announced the preparation of amendments to the legislation for this purpose.

Agreements are currently being prepared between the occupying country and the occupation administrations in the ORDLO to give the appearance of "legal procedures" for the actual abduction of Ukrainian children and their transfer to families in Russia.

So far, more than 2,000 orphans and children deprived of parental care have been deported to Donetsk from Luhansk and Luhansk oblasts.

The occupying country of Russia grossly violates the provisions of Article 49 of the Geneva Convention relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War, which prohibits the forced relocation or deportation of persons from the occupied territories.

The forcible transfer of children from one national group to another contains elements of genocide in accordance with Article 2 of the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide.

I appeal to the UN Commission for Investigation Human Rights Violations during the Russian Military Invasion of Ukraine to take into account these facts of human rights violations in Ukraine.
