One of the worst manifestations of the crime of genocide is the forcible transfer of children from one ethnic group to another

According to the media of the aggressor country, which refer to sources in the military departments of the Russian Federation, more than 144 thousand Ukrainian children were forcibly deported to the territory of ORDLO or Russia.

 These are both orphans and those who have parents.

I now have personalized information about 40 people, including 37 children and 3 foster parents.

Among the facts about the forced removal of children are, in particular:

 17 children from the Municipal Non-Profit Enterprise "Regional Children's Bone and Tuberculosis Sanatorium of Mariupol";

 families raising orphans and children deprived of parental care from Mariupol;

 12-year-old daughter of the Ukrainian water polo champion shot by the occupiers;

 a 9-year-old boy from Mariupol, whose mother was killed in the bombing, and his grandmother, want to take care of him.

The abduction of children by the occupying country violates Article 49 of the Geneva Convention relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War and Article 38 of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and falls under the definition of "genocide" under Article 6 of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court.

Appealed to the Head of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) in Ukraine, the Head of the UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine and the President of the International Committee of the Red Cross to assist and assist in the return of Ukrainian children and families raising orphans and children deprived of parental rights.  care, on the territory of Ukraine.

I call on the UN Commission for Investigation Human Rights Violations during Russia's Military Invasion of Ukraine and the expert mission set up by OSCE participating States under the Moscow Mechanism to take into account these facts of war crimes and Russia's violations of children's rights in Ukraine.
