In eastern Ukraine, heavy shelling continues - the enemy is covering residential areas of peaceful cities with fire

In the Luhansk region in Popasna, a multi-storey building was destroyed as a result of a shell hit - the walls collapsed and the ceiling to the basement collapsed.  People were overwhelmed.

The high-rise building caught fire.  Rescuers managed to extinguish the flames, but the three people who were there were already without signs of life.  One woman survived.

As a result of the shelling of residential areas of Kharkiv, 3 people were killed and 7 were injured, two of them in critical condition.

In Avdiivka, Donetsk region, russian troops launched missile strikes on the city.  The Central City Hospital, school, and high-rise buildings were affected.

The shelling of Krasnohorivka damaged the transformer and left the city without electricity.

Currently, at least 2 civilians are known to have died in the Donetsk region - in New York and Travneve, as well as 6 wounded (in Marinka, Velyka Novosilka, New York and Lyman).

The shelling of peaceful cities and the killing of civilians are war crimes and crimes against humanity under Articles 7 and 8 of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court.

I call on the UN Commission for Investigation Human Rights Violations during the Russian Invasion of Ukraine to take into account these facts of crimes and human rights violations in Ukraine.

I call on international partners to provide weapons to fight the aggressor country of Russia!
