ANNOUNCEMENT: A presentation on the occasion of the International Day for the Protection of Personal Data will take place on January 28

On January 28, on the occasion of the International Day for Personal Data Protection, a number of Recommendations and Clarifications of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Commissioner for Human Rights on personal data protection during the use of video surveillance systems in public places will be presented.

The purpose of these documents is to help personal data holders comply with national and international standards in the field of personal data protection from the early stages of the decision to install video surveillance systems.

And to provide the public with answers to the most common questions about video surveillance and ways to respect the right to privacy, in particular when using mobile video cameras as part of unmanned aerial vehicles (drones).

The presentation will be supported by the EU4DigitalUA Project, funded by the European Union, and will be broadcast online on the official pages of the Commissioner on Facebook and YouTube from 11:00. We invite everyone to join.
