Specialists of the Bureau spoke about the work of the centers and the possibility of seeking legal advice if necessary.

Oksana Tropina showed the students a cartoon on this topic, followed by a discussion.

Children were introduced to the concept of "bullying", told about its forms, types and differences from the usual quarrel between children, the statutory liability for bullying, concealment of bullying, incitement to commit it.

Students were asked to think about the causes of bullying and name the most common ones, in their opinion, as well as to design a case of bullying and name the results it could lead to.

Adolescents agreed that harassment of other students is unacceptable, as bullying not only brings responsibility for the bully, parents, teachers, but can also lead to serious consequences of changing the mental state of the victim. Similarly, cases of bullying witnessed should not be ignored; parents, the police or the teaching staff should be informed immediately to prevent the conflict from escalating and to take on new, more severe forms.

The participants of the seminar consolidated their knowledge of their rights, responsibility for illegal actions, safe behavior in the family and school.

The event was part of the project "Strengthening the Protection of Regional Activists", implemented by the UMDPL Association with the assistance of the National Endowment for Democracy (NED).
