As a result of the Russian shelling, about 80% of housing in Izyum in the Kharkiv region was destroyed

The city has been blocked by the russian occupiers since the beginning of March.  There is no electricity, no heat, no water.  Everything was destroyed - kindergartens, lyceums, medical and social institutions, roads, pedestrian bridge, central square, central park, architectural monuments.

Izyum have become a ruin, and its inhabitants remain hostages of the russian army, which does not provide humanitarian corridors and refuses to allow food and medicine.

In the villages in the suburbs (Kamyanka, Sukha Kamyanka, Topalske) 15 to 20 thousand people need immediate humanitarian aid.  They are suffering from hostilities and are in an extremely dangerous situation.

Impossible work of medical institutions, "ambulance", registration authorities, rescue services.  People themselves, when they can and who they can, bury the dead - in gardens, parks, just near the porches.

The treatment of civilians by the racist army is a war crime and a crime against humanity and falls under the jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court, in accordance with the Statute of the International Military Tribunal and the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court, and is a gross violation of the Geneva Convention

I appeal to the UN Commission for Investigation Human Rights Violations during Russia's Military Invasion of Ukraine and the expert mission set up by the OSCE participating States under the Moscow Mechanism to take into account these war crimes and crimes against humanity and human rights in Ukraine.
