Commissioner: in the captivity of Ukrainian prisoners starve and do not give water

Russian occupiers capture Ukrainian military.

Soldiers of the National Guard of Ukraine, who were guarded by the occupiers and captured by the racists on February 24, 2022, were taken out of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant and are probably in the Russian Federation (Smolensk) and the Republic of Belarus (Bragin).  This was reported by the wife of one of the prisoners.

According to her, the prisoners are starving and not given water.  So far, nothing is known about their health.

By doing so, the occupying country grossly violates the terms of the Geneva Convention relative to the Treatment of Prisoners of War, in particular Article 26 of the Convention, which guarantees adequate nutrition for prisoners of war.

I appeal to the UN Commission for Investigation Human Rights Violations during the Russian Military Invasion of Ukraine and the expert mission set up by the OSCE participating States in accordance with the Moscow Mechanism to take into account these facts of Russian human rights violations in Ukraine.
