Russia persecutes public activists on the territory of the temporarily occupied Crimean peninsula

The Prosecutor General's Office of the occupier recognized the public organization "Crimean Human Rights Group" undesirable in Russia, citing the fact that its activities "pose a threat to the constitutional order and security of the Russian Federation."

Crimean Human Rights Group is a non-governmental organization that includes Crimean lawyers and journalists that collects and analyzes information on human rights violations in the temporarily occupied Crimea.

By its actions, the Russian Federation violates the inalienable right of citizens to freedom of association, guaranteed by Article 20 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

I appeal to the UN Commission for Investigation Human Rights Violations during the Russian Military Invasion of Ukraine to take into account these facts of human rights violations in Ukraine.
