75 years of imprisonment for five citizens of Ukraine

In the Southern District Military Court of Rostov-on-Don, the russian public prosecutor at the final stage of the trial in the criminal case "Hizb ut-Tahrir" asks the court to imprison for up to 15 years members of the so-called "second Simferopol group" Tofik Abdulgaziev, Vladlen Abdulkadyrov,  Izeta Abdullayev, Medzhita Abdurakhmanova and Bilal Adilov.

Crimean Tatars are unjustifiably accused under Part 2 of Article 205.5 of the Criminal Code (participation in a terrorist organization).  They will spend the first three years in prison and the remainder of their term in a maximum security penal colony with the restriction movement after serving a sentence for 1 year and 6 months.

The main evidence of the prosecution is the testimony of so-called "secret witnesses", whose identities are known only to FSB officers who investigated the crime and judges who are considering a criminal case.

If an illegal court decision is made, 14 minor children of Crimean Tatars will be left without breadwinners.

By suing Crimean Tatars and other illegally detained Ukrainians, the occupying country violates international law, the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms, and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

I appeal to the UN Commission for Investigation Human Rights Violations during Russia's military invasion of Ukraine to take into account these facts of Russia's human rights violations if the citizens of Ukraine.
