The troops of the aggressor country are destroying, destroying and stealing the cultural heritage of the Ukrainian people

242 episodes of russian aggressors' war crimes against such facilities have already been documented.

16 monuments of national significance, 72 of local significance and 6 newly discovered ones were destroyed and damaged.

The most destroyed cultural heritage sites in Kharkiv region - 84, in Donetsk - 45, in Kiev - 38, in Chernihiv - 24, in Lugansk - 17, in Sumy - 14.

The occupiers destroyed or damaged 92 religious buildings, including 35 - monuments of history, architecture and urban planning, 29 memorials in honor of historical figures and events of the XIX - early XXI centuries., 19 buildings and complexes of museums and reserves, 33 houses of culture, theaters, libraries and other objects of valuable historical buildings.

Enemy missiles fired at the museum on the island of Khortytsia in Zaporizhia, which was restored as part of the "Great Restoration" program.

The old buildings of the Lysychansk Multidisciplinary Gymnasium and the Lysychansk Anti-Tuberculosis Dispensary, which were part of the Belgian Architectural Ensemble, established more than 100 years ago, were destroyed.

In the Kyiv region, a building of the early twentieth century was damaged.  - Makariv Public Library, in the Kharkiv region the ancient Teacher's House of 1925.

By destroying our cultural heritage, Russia is trying to erase the national identity of the Ukrainian people.

The aggressor's troops violate Articles 4 and 5 of the Hague Convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict.

Such actions of the aggressor in accordance with Article 8 of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court are a war crime.

I appeal to the UN Commission for Investigation Human Rights Violations during Russia's military invasion of Ukraine to take into account these facts of war crimes and human rights violations in Ukraine.
