The Russian Federation has fabricated another illegal criminal charge against Oleh Prykhodko, a citizen of Ukraine

A Crimean activist serving a sentence in the TKU T-2 of the UFSIN of Russia in the Vladimir region (Vladimir Central) was transferred to SIZO-5 in Rostov-on-Don to stand trial in court on illegal charges.

On March 31, 2022, the Southern District Military Court sentenced Oleg Prykhodko to 360 hours of compulsory labor under Part 1 of Article 297 of the Criminal Code (contempt of court).

He was sentenced to another month in prison with a sentence of 3 March 2021, up to a maximum of 5 years in prison.  Thus, Oleg Prykhodko must serve a sentence of 5 years and 1 month.

At present, the third criminal case under Article 319 of the Criminal Code (insult of a government official) has been initiated against Oleg Prikhodko.  The sanction of the article provides for a fine of up to forty thousand russian rubles or in the amount of wages or other income of the convict for a period of up to three months, or compulsory labor for up to three hundred and sixty hours, or correctional labor for up to one year.

I consider the actions of the Russian Federation against a citizen of Ukraine illegal, the accusations made fabricated and politically motivated, and the criminal cases against Oleg Prykhodko fabricated.

I appeal to the UN Commission to Investigate Human Rights Violations during the Russian Military Invasion of Ukraine, to take into account these facts of violations of the rights of citizens of Ukraine.
