Occupying troops blackmail the mother of a prisoner of war

The occupiers called the Mariupol resident, cultural figure, founder of the Children's Film Festival Olga Novikova through her son's account on social networks, and reported that her son Oleksiy Novikov was in captivity.

The main demand of the occupiers was 5 thousand euros to save boy life.  Not for release from captivity or security, but simply for saving lives.

The situation happened on April 23-24, the occupiers gave time for reflection until Monday, April 25.  If the woman does not give the racists money, they threaten to torture and kill the boy on video.

The boy is currently being held near the village of Maloyanisol, he served in the territorial defense.  Alexei is included in the list of prisoners.

Such actions by Russia are nothing but terrorism in accordance with the International Convention for the Suppression of the Taking of Hostages, adopted in New York on December 17, 1979, the 2005 Council of Europe Convention on the Prevention of Terrorism and War Crimes under Article 8 of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court.  .

I appeal to the UN Commission for Investigation Human Rights Violations during the Russian Military Invasion of Ukraine to take into account these facts of crimes and human rights violations in Ukraine.
